Floridavegliving.com was created in response to the multiple inquiries from people about my vegetarian lifestyle. After researching popular keyword searches and narrowing down specific type of website I could manage with least amount of competition, I came up with a Florida specific vegetarian site focused on restaurants, travel, recipes and events.
I researched, created and designed original content for website including all website customization, layout, photography, graphics, articles and written content. The site was written in a WordPress platform with customizations to the design, plug-ins, HTML and CSS. I also aggregated my content through social media channels: Urbanspoon, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. I also integrated SEO practices and advertising through Google Adsense for the site.

The Happy Holidays card from 2012 was sent out from the office of the president for Stetson University. The recipients were generous donors to the university. The card’s design had to be upscale (while on a limited budget) and be appropriate for an audience of varying beliefs. I started by hand drawing the design on old-fashioned paper with pencil. Then I scanned my drawing, used it as a template in the background of Illustrator. The final vector was then imported into Indesign to finish the layout of the card with the inside card message and prepared the files for press. The final card was printed on an #80 cover Neenah linen stock.
The design was also used as an animation in an email marketing campaign. The animation was created with Flash.

When Stetson University’s graduate programs needed a boost in marketing to their demographic, I suggested targeting the Pandora audience. The ads really engaged the appropriate perspective students and the click-through rate of 1.36% was almost double the average click-through rate for Pandora ads. The ad pitch and digital design were within the branding of the other marketing materials that have been created for this campaign.
The website lwgravesconstruction.com is a project portfolio site for the company. This website showcases the extensive project capabilities of the company for their Northern Colorado clientele. Besides word-of-mouth, this website was the company’s first marketing tool. The images of the projects used on the website were provided to me by the client. I used an existing WordPress template and significantly modified the HTML and CSS of the template.
